We stayed at Destiny a week before Christmas. The rooms were clean and comfortable with fantastic views of the lake and valley. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading a book with a cup of tea. The numerous activities provided for the children were wonderful that adds to our overall experience. The children loved the horse rides and the towel origami. The travel to and from the resort is an adventure and the actual grounds are a pleasure to walk around. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Destiny is a reminder of all that we have lost, a window offering a glimpse into the bygone days. We, a family of four, couldn’t get enough of Destiny – from waking up to chirping birds, intoxicating vistas, lovely treks, friendly horses, pulling out carrots from the farm, visiting the dairy, idling over newborn calves, zipping across the valley and gazing at a star-studded sky, we had our plates full. The children, in particular, were enthralled by the chicken coop, fishing, pet rabbits and so much more. My favourite pastime was lounging by the wonderful lake with a book and the spot next to the spa offers a mesmerizing view. Stories across the bonfire, board games to bragging about how we rode horseback to a cottage an hour away. We realised how isolated we had become as individuals, each immersed in his or her electronic poison. The staff were helpful at all times, receptive to our needs. We would place Destiny on top of our ‘must visit places’. We will definitely be back!

I stayed here with my husband and a 5-year-old son. It is such an amazing retreat, cut off from the rest of the world. We enjoyed a blissful vacation overlooking a beautiful, serene lake. It is the perfect blend of peace and quiet yet there was never a dull moment for us or our son with so many activities to choose from. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They always went out of their way to offer their assistance. Would love to visit this piece of paradise again.

"It's choice - not chance - that determines your Destiny.” 'Destiny Farm Stay' is truly a piece of heaven. I am glad I chose it for my Birthday. What a fantastic experience; from the booking, driving to the place, experience at the front office to each of the hotel staff, the well kept room with stunning views of the valley, the farm, the stables, impressive menu, great food and the green pastures surrounded by a valley of mountains cradling the Emerald Dam. Felt like another world. Kudos to the Destiny team. You surely stand far, far ahead in hospitality and services. Good luck and God bless.

Leah my daughter was 7 months and Neil, 2 years old in 2008 and his whole world was about animals when we went to Destiny. That year we needed double boiled food for my little ones and they catered to our every little need. Neil and Leah used to wake up on their own, get dressed and go to the horses. We sipped coffees with a view of the whole place and could keep an eye on them. I had the holiday I always wanted as a mother. We kept going back there. We had the best anniversaries there. In 2018, we had our 8th visit with our parents. Expect us again, very soon!

For me, destiny is the jewel of Ooty. We had the most fabulous experience away from all the hustle and bustle of life. The team did an outstanding job to make sure our stay was truly amazing. My daughter loved it so much that she spent her last two summer vacations there. She says the cookies and white brownies were the best she has ever tasted. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food was amazing as well. Thank you so much and all the best to the entire team.
